 The BR Series shock absorbers use a generously sized piston (46mm diameter) in a 53mm shock body to maximize oil capacity.
 When the shock absorber is stressed, the oil inside it heats up.
 The viscosity of oil changes as its temperature changes, which can lead to changes in the damping characteristics of the unit.
 BC Racing only uses the highest quality oil with their set-ups, but they go that extra mile to maximise performance and build their BR range with a large shock body. This increases the capacity of the shock absorber and in turn increases the volume of oil contained, which reduces the peak temperature and therefore significantly improves the performance of the shock absorber.
