We are proud to announce the new ECUMASTER Racing Dash family of products.
We designed the ADU5 and ADU7 in response to market demand for a cost effective display with the ability to log and save data.
Our specific goal was to create a fully customizable, feature rich and well-crafted solution for professional drivers.
After consulting with drivers and engineers, we designed the ADU to meet their needs.
The ADU is designed to display all critical information in an easy to read manner along with clear warning displays.
The ADUs (Advance Display Units) are available in 5” and 7” versions.
Both versions feature a high resolution, very sharp and anti-glare coated screen, ensuring excellent visibility in all conditions.
The ADU has several pages with pre-configured pages that can be customized by the user to display the data needed for each phase of the race (e.g. training, qualifying, race, fault reporting, etc.).
The pages can be changed manually or automatically. Each channel displayed on the page (gauges, icons, text, etc.) can be easily changed in real time using intuitive Windows-based software.
Our comprehensive overlay system makes it easy to display multiple pages of important data and notifications (e.g. low oil pressure, best lap, etc.) regardless of the page you are viewing.
The ADU also features 15 very bright RGB LEDs that can be used as gear dependent backlighting and can be changed to suit your preferences (alarms, low fuel, etc.).
Using infrared diodes or GPS, the display becomes a powerful stopwatch with predictive timing.
Selecting the qualifying page activates “Qualifying Mode”, which uses advanced timing calculations based on an automatically updated “best” reference lap. User configurable timers can be customized for additional functionality (pit stops, etc.).
The ADU also supports thermal cameras for monitoring brake disc or tire temperatures (up to 16 points per tire).
Communication with other devices in the car is via two integrated and independent CAN-BUS communication ports. CAN diagrams are available for the most popular ECUs and are fully configurable, allowing our equipment to be connected to virtually any engine management system.
To ensure that all functions work correctly, our device is equipped with a 32-bit car controller combined with a state-of-the-art graphics processor.
This combination provides the ideal working environment for any engineer or driver and ensures smooth, high-resolution graphics at 50 frames per second.
For further data analysis, data channels can be saved to a USB flash drive at up to 500Hz.
All these features and more are housed in a durable, custom-machined, black anodized CNC housing
